Kangeiko In Cleethorpes!

Following the annual tradition of Kangeiko (寒稽古 - "cold training" or "winter training") Simon and Tilly set their alarms for 5.45, dragged themselves out of their warm beds, and set off to Cleethorpes beach to start training at 8AM.

Meeting our friends from Haxby Karate Club and Andy Sensei and his team from Kaizen-no-michi in Grimsby, we celebrated the end of a week that saw many students up at the crack of dawn, training every single day.

Following a short run to get us warmed up, the training was a lot of fun and really created a feeling of camaraderie and joint effort. Arguably even better was the great big fry up at Brown's cafe after.
